My wildlife buddies

In Muirhead, on the outskirts of Dundee (Scotland) in a small woodland enclave, are a husband and wife team who are committed to helping the Red squirrels. They feed and care for the Reds in their natural habitat and help this endangered species keep a firm foothold in the North East of Scotland.  To find out more about their work visit their website at http://www.red-squirrels.co.uk/

Guided walks and tours throughout Perthshire to enjoy iconic Scottish wildlife; ecological consultancy. www.perthshirewildlife.co.uk or contact Daniele by email  http://www.perthshirewildlife.co.uk/events/

Welcome to Perthshire Wildlife, a small Scottish company which helps connect locals and holiday makers to the beautiful Perthshire countryside.

We run guided walks across Big Tree Country to enjoy iconic Perthshire wildlife and countryside. Popular walks include Brilliant Blairgowrie Beavers – to observe European beavers living wild on the River Tay catchment, Bloomin’ Beautiful Bluebells, Batty Dusk Wildlife to enjoy evening wildlife such as roe deer, bats and woodcock, Dunkeld’s Super Swifts all about the folklore and conservation of these amazing birds, and Red Kites of Glen Artney to view rare red kites in this beautiful, wild flower filled glen.

From spring 2014 we are starting guided wildlife tours across Perthshire. These will cover the wildlife-rich areas from Dunkeld & Birnam in the west to Glenshee in the east. We will collect you in our mini-bus from a central point and escort you to the top wildlife spots of the area. We expect to see black and red grouse, red deer, mountain hare, red squirrel and osprey, to name a few. With a maximum of eight per group and minimum of two, we keep groups small and exclusive.

We can also run tailor made tours – just contact us with the species or place you would like to see and we will do the rest!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
